The company was established in 1978
as importer and
distributor of furniture fittings and accessories,
in 1980
as office furniture manufacturer, and subsequently
expanded its business to cover residential furniture
and
kitchen units.
By 1990, Modernform Group had expanded into 9
business units, five of which were responsible for
marketing and sales, while the other four units
were
responsible for manufacturing. The entire business
units
were restructured and consolidated under one flagship
company, Modernform Group Public Company Limited.
In January 1992, Modernform became a listed company
under the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
